      Topic:
      One of the most difficult areas of cyber security is to detect, defend and prevent insider threats that are either malicious or unintentional. The scope of this panel is to examine not only intent but what are some realistic expectations of using technology to address this issue.


      Biography:
      Vincent Lee has taught networking and security technologies for over 15 years. He has designed secure networks across the globe for networking pioneers such as 3Com and Foundry Networks for over 12 years in both the commercial service provider and the US Department of Defense space. He is currently the lead systems engineer for Symantec in the Asia Pacific region.

      Bio:
      Eric is responsible for the technical planning, architecture, and major account support for the Western Half of North America, Latin America and Australia at NetScout. Formerly a Sales Engineering Director at Network General, his experience spans more than 20 years in the Network Management Solutions Market. As a Network Administrator for Shell Oil Company, Eric applied the principals of Network and Application Management to deploy and troubleshoot an enterprise network for over 50,000 people spread over 40 different locations. His expertise includes emphasis on Security, Helpdesk, Unified Communications, Network and Application Performance Management. He resides in Southern California.

      Your security tools such as your firewall, IDS/IPS, DLP, SIEM, and Sandboxing solutions have done their job. They have identified that you have a problem ... you have an unwanted guest in your network. Now the dreaded questions:

      · What did the bad guys do?

      · What did they take?

      · Who else in my organization might be compromised? Who brushed against that malicious code?

      · How did they get in?

      · What did they get out and how much got out?

      Having a way to answer these questions can really midigate the impact of a breach and same your organization huge sums of money … not to mention your reputation. Knowledge is power and in a breach you want every byte of knowledge available.

      In this presentation we will walk through the anatomy of a breach and ways we can be prepared to answer these questions.

      Applications are generating more data, users are bringing their own devices, Hybrid Networks are becoming more common, and SaaS/Cloud has arrived in a big way. This session will dig into the issues these trends cause, ways that IT can address them, and some of the new technologies available to help. We¹ll take a tour of the IT environment and discuss the best ways to get the visibility IT needs while minimizing the footprint needed for deploying monitoring solutions.

      Bio:
      Sidney leads the SteelCentral Product Management team in his role as Director of Product Management. He drives product strategy and execution for the AppResponse, NetProfiler, and NetShark product families. He is also responsible for integrations with SteelHead and other Riverbed products. Prior to this role, he was a member of the SteelHead Product Management team driving QoS, Central Management, and Mobile solutions. Over his 20 year career in Technology, Sidney has also held a variety of roles at IBM, HP, and Packeteer.

      One of hackers' dirty little secret weapons used to bypass security systems and penetrate even the most locked-down networks are advanced evasion techniques (AETs). While AETs are not a secret among the hacking community--where they are well known and have been in widespread use for several years--there are misunderstandings, misinterpretations, and ineffective safeguards in use by the security experts charged with blocking AETs at most organizations.

      Bio:
      Derek Watkins is a Federal Sales Engineer for Intel Security covering the DoD in the Pacific. He has over 13 years of experience in Cyber Security, currently holds CISSP, OSWP, CCFE, and Security + certifications, and has a Master's Degree in Network Security. Prior to McAfee, Derek worked at Booz Allen Hamilton supporting USPACOM, at EDS supporting NMCI, and was Active Duty US Air Force.

      During his presentation, Bill will give an overview of the Kill Chain Methodology, discuss the attacker point of view, and how we can use Kill Chain to discover the chain of events that led to the incident and find the true source of the breech within our environment. Bill will also give a demonstration of how to use the Kill Chain Methodology Technique to determine the source of a Malware Incident.

      Bio:
      Bill Musson is a seasoned information security professional with years of service to the corporate, federal and military sectors. His career includes positions as the Network Security Officer for the U.S. Navy, Pearl Harbor, Security Consultant/Sales Engineer, Symantec Corporation and currently is a Senior Solutions Engineer supporting the U.S. Navy, U.S. Marine Corps, U.S. Pacific Command. U.S. Air Force, and Systems Integrators for Splunk, Inc.       Bio:
      Lee Wei is the IBM North America CTO for Endpoint and Mobility Management. Prior to that, Lee worked at Oracle and Cisco when both companies had less than 2,000 employees. He has seen how leading technologies cross the chasm from an innovative idea to mass market adoption. Lee has been working on the IBM endpoint security management technology for the last 10 years, evangelizing and implementing the solution globally at large distributed enterprises. His passions and strengths span both high level vision and hands-on implementations. He has written numerous tools, utilities, and reports for the endpoint manager community which are in popular circulation.

      Topic:
      IT customers today are struggling with both their cloud strategies and the consumption of cloud-based "shadow IT" by internal customers. Many cloud strategies and deployments can stall due to a host of financial, technical and organizational challenges: limits on capital investments, insufficient IT resources, and the burden of managing multiple service providers. It is important that an organization consider all of the variables associated and architect solutions that are holistic in nature and practical to current and future needs.

      Bio:
      Steve Wells leads the sales strategy and go-to-market activities for Presidio's solutions in the Data Center and Cloud. Responsible for the thirteen states in the Western U.S., Mr. Wells oversees business technology solutions and resources related to Compute, Storage, Cloud, and associated Cyber Security components.

      Prior to joining Presidio's management team, Steve held engineering and sales management positions at Cisco over the course of 15 years. During his tenure at Cisco, he ran the Cyber Security business within the Western U.S for Government, Commercial, and Enterprise organizations.

      Steve has been working in the security and technology industry for over twenty-seven years. Prior to joining Presidio, he spent time at Cisco, 3Com, and AT&T. He has spent his career advising federal, state and municipal agencies, as well as the military and Russell 2000 companies in technology & business strategies and best practices.

      Steve currently resides in the Portland, OR area.

      Rich Thompson is Information Systems Security Manager for a system at USPACOM. He has been directly involved with Department of Defense cybersecurity for more than 15 years.
