Synopsis:

With the threat landscape changing and new worms like Downadup/Conficker spreading, is Intrusion Detection/Prevention still relevant? Trish will talk about IDS/IPS technology in this environment, as well as review current exploits and vulnerabilities. She will also discuss her experiences in making Intrusion Prevention work.

Trish is a Sr. Systems Engineer with TippingPoint, and has been involved with the IT industry for over 15 years. She is well versed in cyber security, deep packet inspection, networking & protocol analysis, having taught Sniffer University before joining TippingPoint.
