In addition, the new Green IT initiatives can help you improve operational efficiency, helping you do more with less! In addition to discussing power and cooling savings, he'll discuss how improved reliability and availability can also be a result.

Speaker: Drew Tipton, Systems Architect, Symantec

Drew is an Availability Systems Architect for Symantec, and specializes in the Storage Foundation for Windows and Virtualization products. He has worked with these products for over 6 years, and has helped to make them what they are today through supportability and engineering efforts as well as delivering customer-focused solutions. In addition, Drew has over 15 years of Windows systems administration background, including Exchange and Cluster architectures, and has also been responsible for day-to-day Data Center Operations for several Fortune 500 companies.
