Maintaining organizational security against cyberthreats last year was a unique challenge. Cybercriminals turned up their execution a notch - targeting specific industry verticals, organizations, and even individuals. Increases in the frequency of ransomware, phishing, and cryptojacking attacks were experienced by businesses of nearly every size, vertical, and locale. Find out how to resolve these issues that are keeping you "up at night"; that is, which aspects of security - from prevention, to attack, to detection, to response - you are most concerned about.

He has over 22 years of experience developing cybersecurity solutions for organizations to address regulatory compliance mandates, assessments, policy review and development, and internal process audits. His cybersecurity team leads efforts in deploying solution-based integrations designed to protect clients' critical infrastructure, data, brand confidence, and reputation. Topic: Do you wonder how a hacker thinks? Is your organization a soft target? This talk will flip the script and show you how a threat actor approaches breaching the perimeter, persisting access, and evading detection.
Bio: Eric is an elite pentester. His team consecutively won First Place at DEF CON Hacking Competition 23, 24, and 25's Wireless CTF, earning a Black Badge. He was forcibly retired from competing in the Wireless CTF and now creates challenges. He has successfully compromised companies from nearly all sectors of business; testing physical, human, network and wireless security.

Bio: Dean is the Channel Manager covering Hawaii for APC by Schneider Electric, a global specialist in energy management and the world's most sustainable company. With a combined background in sales and leadership he brings a consultative approach to his partnerships, focusing on educating and empowering companies to better utilize battery back-up, datacenter, cooling, software, and lifecycle management - all while doing things the green way. Outside of work, Dean is a long tenured high school basketball coach, local men's league team player, and avid strength trainer.
