2008 Annual Discover Security Conference

It is my pleasure, on behalf of the ISSA Hawaii Board and its members, to extend to each of you this invitation from the Aloha State to participate in our 15th annual Discover Security Conference. As many of you have come to expect and appreciate, this is an exclusive event focused on providing an unbiased forum for the ISSA Hawaii members and guests to learn more about attacking new threats in the pursuit of securing their organizations. As you are looking over the flyer provided (see link below) it is my hope that you will appreciate just how important this event can be to your organization's security posture.

I'd like to also take this opportunity to thank our many attendees at last year's conference in making it our best conference to date.  I look forward to meeting all of you during this event and personally thanking each of you for accepting this invitation and making this year a success because of you and your participation.

Cost of Event (2-days):
Total fee may not be shared nor is it transferable after check-in. This fee applies to both ISSA members and non ISSA members.

               ISSA Members - $50.00
               Non-Members - $100.00

Cancellation
Cancellations must be received by October 20, 2008.  "No-shows" will be charged the full amount ($50 for members; $100 for non-members) if cancellations are not received before the first day of registration and check-in.

Qualifications and Verification of Membership
You must be an active ISSA Hawaii member as of September 30, 2008, with dues paid through at least October 23, 2008.

NOTE: Membership status will be validated based on the current membership roster provided by ISSA International.

This year, ISSA Board of Directors has decided to help our environment--by GOING GREEN!  In an effort to cut down on cost and waste, we will NOT be printing and distributing the conference brochure during the 2-day event.  For your reference, please have a copy printed before attending the conference.
