Speaker: Ton Huynh has worked in technology for over 20 years. He started in technology as a system administrator managing messaging and database servers for private industry. He spent the next 12 years designing/deploying content management solutions for public and private sectors as a lead consultant. Ton then worked in data protection for over 7 years and in between his years in data protection, worked at Google as an infrastructure modernization specialist helping enterprises transform legacy data centers leveraging Google Cloud. Currently Ton is the Principal Systems Engineer for Veeam software supporting the Southern California and Hawaii customers.

Speaker: David Young, ISSA Hawaii Chapter Treasurer
In this discussion, we will talk about challenges in the security of facility-related control systems (sometimes referred to as Operational Technology, or OT, or SCADA). We'll define related acronyms in this area and discuss recent publicized security breaches. Further discussion will include the clash of cultures between construction project timeliness and due diligence for cyber requirements.
